Welsh Cobs and Arabians

It is now five years since I took over the reins of the Okeden Stud from my mother Dr June Alexander and this new website is to both celebrate the Okeden horses and also to launch Okeden Equine Marketing, a new division of Export Sales, Marketing and Communications Consultancy and Agency Sefrex Ltd. 

The stud was set up by my mother in the mid 1960s in North Ferriby, near Hull and 

the Essex division started around 25 years later with just a couple of Welsh Cobs. It has now grown to our current line-up of 7 Welsh Section Ds, 1 Welsh Section A, 5 Purebred Arabians and then a Highland and a Shetland as fence security checkers!

Superb breeding as well as versatility and temperament are what have always counted at the Okeden Stud and I do hope for the same from any potential owners as well as my helpers, riders and even those interested to share or loan!
